Review Flagship All Natural Vegan Pomade Medium Hold (Learoy Black)

Back again with another pomade review. Today we will be looking at Flagship All Natural Vegan Pomade Medium Hold. This pomade is brewed by Wade ‘Cody’ Branson in Little Rock Arkansas.

The Packaging
This pomade comes in 4 oz amber glass jar. What I love is that the label looks so rad as Cody burn each of the label to detail. Amazing!


Scent
Flagship Vegan comes in 3 different scents to choose from, they are Bergamot Coffee, Apple Pie Moonshine and Cedarwood. But today we will be looking at Bergamot Coffee. This pomade smells literally like a fresh coffee bean and the bergamot itself gives out that right amount of acidity that makes the coffee bean
smells so real. And I really love it. Great Scent!

Texture
Let get this one clear, this is a non-petro pomade therefore a harder texture shall be expected. Although I heard from some that this pomade is hard to scoop out, as for myself I can scoop out this pomade fairly easy with putting a pressure on my finger (Practice your finger lol). The top layer is hard yes but once you break in, it is slightly easier to scoop out later on.

As you can see from the picture below, I scoop it out just like any other all natural pomade. Once you smear it in the hand it will turn
buttery and sticky. There will be a little brittle while you are smearing it but this is pretty normal . Just agitate it a little and gone (don't be lazy lol). However, Cody himself has brewed its newer batch with a softer texture.

I shall be reviewing this pomade in 2 days of application, as followed.

Day 1: 

Application
As usual I started my day around 6 AM and today I applied 4 scoops on semi damp hair (Clean Hair). The application goes in fairly easy with a little tug due to the stickiness of this pomade. However, the stickiness does help a lot during the styling process as it gives full control and I am able to style my hair higher with slickness.

This pomade definitely is more than a medium hold it is more like a medium heavy hold. As I mentioned, although there was a tug during the application, the combing itself is smooth. This is great.

Performance
I started my day quiet late around 10 AM as we are having labor day off (Long weekend ahead). I have a slight outdoor activities till Lunch Time approached. I was sweaty and all but my hair is still in tact due to the stickiness, which is good. The coffee scent still linger and turned softer as the day passed by.

I don't really need to do a re-comb with this pomade as I continue my day in cool air conditioned shopping mall. My hair is still in place till around 7 PM during Dinner Time. As I want to look good and fresh, so I wash my face with water and try to re-comb my hair. The re-comb process is easy and i can get the same amount of height, and let me tell you the shine is amazing by this time.

So I finish off my day around 11 PM, Hit the shower without washing out the hair and proceed my night. As I would like to know the build-up of this pomade.

Day 2:
Build Up
The Build up quality of this pomade is pretty good. The stickiness has gone as I sleep but the waxiness is still there. The build up is feeling quiet light and clean. It is slightly oily but none heavy greasy at all.

Application
As I have a build up, today I'm putting up two scoops of Flagship Vegan to refresh my hair. The application is still the same as previous day, however the build up really helps with the touching up. Slight tone down with the tug and yes it is even more easy to style. I still can get a good higher volume with slickness. It is great!

Performance
Again I started my day slightly late around 10:40 AM, Today gonna be a true test for Flagship Pomade as I am having total outdoor activities with the rest of my fellow greaser. We are having gathering like "Grease and Grub".

When I started my day, the heat and humidity was there but this pomade performs amazingly due to its waxiness and stickiness. There was rain during late afternoon and the weather has cool down. During the "Gath", I did a few re-comb just to show a few of my mates about this pomade and some are impressed with the re-combing I did as I let one of them to comb my hair.

I finish off my outdoor activity around 8;45 PM, and followed by mostly indoor activity till I reach home around 10:30 PM. The hold has tone down (normal) by a little however the shine and stickiness still exist, but considering the heat and humidity, this pomade has survived a good long day.

Time to hit up the shower, this time around I try to wash it out with shampoo and conditioner, almost 60% of it has gone. But I'm pretty sure if i wash it once more with shampoo and conditioner, it will be totally gone.

Overall
I am very impressed with Flagship All Natural Vegan Pomade. It gives you that medium-heavy hold with stickiness and amazing shine. And I love how it works in my fine thin hair as it keeps my hair in tact no matter indoor or outdoor activities, cool or hot humid weather.

However, I really wish that the scent of this pomade can be stronger and last longer but other than that Great Pomade, Cody! I am falling in love with this pomade
