Review Flagship Light Hold (Learoy Black)

Hello guys. Today we will be looking at another variant of Flagship Pomade by Wade 'Cody' Branson. This variant unlike the previous one, it has Petro contain. The variant we will be looking at is Flagship Light Hold Pomade.

Packaging
This pomade comes in 4 oz blue tinted glass jar (older batch) with a beautiful detail labeling. Like the medium one, each of the label have the side burn that makes it look so classical and have that pirates theme in it. However, the newer batch of this light hold pomade comes with a clear glass jar.

Scent
Flagship Light have a very refreshing clean scent with note of floral jasmine. It has the feel of aromatherapy/seaside garden that makes your day feel relax and calm. And the longevity of the scent shall linger all day. I love it!

Texture
This pomade comes in oceany blue color that matches with the whole ocean and pirates theme. It looks waxy from the top layer, however once you break in and scoop it out, you can definitely feel it is soft and tender (not greasy). Scooping out this pomade is a breeze and once you smear it in the hand it will turn creamy and

soft. Please note that the blue color is not scary at all.

I shall be reviewing this pomade in 2 days of application, as followed.

Day 1
Application
As usual I Started my day around 6 AM and for today I applied 4 scoops of Flagship light on dry hair (Clean Hair). The application goes in very easy and I can feel that this pomade is not a pure light pomade as there is some stickiness and hold (not super greasy). That slight stickiness and hold gives me a full control when I comb

and style my hair. With only a little time, my hair is done, and as you can see from the picture below, this pomade is definitely slick and smooth with a very good shine. Very Good.

Performance
I started my day with indoor activities with cool air-conditioned office environment. Due to its slight stickiness and room temperature, my hair does not move much at this point. During lunch break, I head out to grab some meal under the sun. This pomade did perform well, as it did not straight away melt down and feel heavy or weighing down your head. It did lose some hold but in a very general way but yet it feels light in weight.

So I re-comb my hair, the process was smooth and easy. Activities continue in indoor area as I had meeting and such till time to knock off and head home. It was around 7 PM, and yes the hair still looks good and the scent still linger. I'm very very pleased with it! I did not wash out my hair for today to test out the build up.


Day 2
Build up
The Build up of this pomade is greasy but not in a bad way. It still have some amount of hold but yet it feels clean. So it is good.

Application
Today I applied only 2 little scoops of Flagship light on top of the build up just to freshen it up. The application goes in easy and this is the fun part, although i only use that 2 little scoops, the amount of left over waxiness and stickiness does help for the styling. The combing goes so smooth and I can get a slick result again. I really like it!

Performance
As usual I started my day as early as 6 AM and most of my activities done indoor up until lunch time. My hair still stay in tact does not move at all. So I decided to re-comb just for fun and yes the result is pleasing and as I predicted. After the re-comb I can truly predict that this pomade will perform well until the end of the day. Therefore, I'm concluding this review because this pomade is so good that I can predict well how it will perform through out the day.

Overall
Flagship Light Hold Pomade is a very good pomade for daily use especially if you are a white collar. The soft and pleasing scent combined with the slickness and shine is top notch. Moreover, the hold itself is more than a pure light hold pomade with a decent amount of stickiness, it will help to keep hair in tact through out the day (if you work indoor). Great Pomade, Cody!
